Mercer And Hughes Veterinary Surgery is an independent practice with three sites across Great Dunmow, Stansted and our main hospital in Saffron Walden. The practice has now been open for over forty years. We operate an appointment system for consultations to minimise your waiting time and ensure both you and your pets have adequate time with the vet. We can provide a home visiting service by prior arrangement. Our well equipped hospital and branch surgeries contain the latest diagnostic equipment including digital x- ray facilities, ultrasound, ECG and endoscopy. We have a large team of dedicated veterinary nurses who run daily nurse clinics where they can give general advice and carry out procedures such as microchipping, nail clipping and weight checks.
