Pro Dogs Direct, Catford – Pro Dogs Direct operates a non-destruction policy Rescuing and rehoming unwanted dogs in England. We always have a wide range of dogs awaiting rehoming, so if you can offer a permanent home to a dog, please visit our website.

Additionally, we are constantly searching for volunteers to help us, in many ways. We are in need of foster homes to temporarily care for the dogs we take in. Fostering involves looking after a dog in your own home until we can find a permanent home for him or her. Whilst you are fostering we will ask you to tell us about the dog so that we can find the best home to match the temperament of your foster dog. When a possible permanent home has been found we ask the prospective adopter to visit the dog at your home, if you are happy to do this. We are also looking for people to help us transport dogs from their homes to foster homes or kennels, usually in North Kent or South London.

We also have a puppy farm run every 6 weeks or so when we bring unwanted breeding dogs (not the puppies) to find loving homes. We need drivers to meet near Reading and bring dogs back to North Kent or South East London. If you can help us in any of the ways mentioned here, please get in touch with us!
