Happy Staffie Rescue

Happy Staffie Rescue, Kidderminster – Happy Staffie Rescue is an independent dog rescue charity with a non destruction policy that specialises in supporting the Staffordshire bull terrier and related cross breeds. Our aim is to help save, care for and rehome as many Staffordshire bull terriers as we can.

We are quite small, and cannot afford our own kennels so instead we pay private boarding kennels to house our dogs. We have a small welfare team that share the duties of handling e-mails, telephone calls, home checks, dog walks, dog assessments, veterinary runs and so on. We receive no financial support from local or central government, nor are we supported by a larger national charity. We depend on the generosity of ordinary people to enable us to do what we do. Our charity shops are essential to this as we do not benefit from the much higher profile of larger, national charities that can generate greater forms of voluntary income.
