Old Clayton Kennels

Old Clayton Kennels and Cattery is situated between Washington and Storrington in West Sussex. Our over night boarding kennels are split into three main areas, with two areas dedicated to caring for larger breeds and the third to caring for smaller breeds. All kennels are divided to provide your dog with spacious indoor and outdoor accommodation. This is left open for them to wonder freely throughout the day and is shut at night keeping them cosy and warm inside. Our kennels have a thermostat controlled central heating system that operates during the winter months and on cold summer evenings. All dogs are fed their home diet exactly as they would have it at home.

We provide dogs with their own beds and comfortable blankets, however we can also carpet an area of the kennel and provide your dog with soft floor bedding as an alternative. Every item is washed after each use and bedding is changed and washed regularly. Dogs have the opportunity to enjoy exercise in our secure outside play runs, multiple times throughout the day. There is also the opportunity for your dog to have a friend while they stay with us. We aim to mix two dogs from different families together, so that they can have a play mate on their holidays to maximize their fun. All mixing is done extremely carefully and we make sure that all dogs are matched according to size, temperament, age and of course ensuring they are spayed or neutered.
All our staff are fully trained in administering medication. We maintain well controlled medication systems.
