Ivy Kennels and Cattery

Ivy Kennels and Cattery is based at Storeton, just outside Birkenhead, a short drive from Junctions 3 or 4 of the M53. Our purpose-built kennels are cattery were completed in 2009, designed to provide maximum comfort with details such as underfloor heating. Our kennels are designed to be safe, secure and easy to clean, and have also been designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Rainwater is collected from the kennel roofs and used to wash down the individual runs.

We believe that we have the finest, most modern and spacious boarding facilities available on the Wirral. The kennels have large tiled indoor and outdoor runs with views overlooking 5 acres of beautiful Wirral countryside. All sleeping areas have infrared heat lamps for cold nights and each dog is given a doggie hammock to sleep on for extra comfort. In order to provide exercise and stimulation all dogs are walked twice a day in quiet country surroundings. Optional extra walks can be booked. A wide selection of diets are available and feeding times are kept as close as possible to dogs’ normal routines. If your dog needs a medicated or special diet then we are happy for you to bring your own food.

We also offer a day care service for owners who want to leave their pets with us during the day whilst they are at work. We offer flexible out of hours drop off and collection times.
